Provide technical assistance in areas such as vendor/product review, vendor adherence to company standards and microbiological data assessment. This role also assists with the development and review of vendor program policies and procedures. This individual will routinely interact with food vendors, Food Sourcing & Procurement, Food & Beverage and other internal and external partners.

Basic Qualifications

·         Proven knowledge of HACCP, food safety audits, food processing, foodborne pathogens, and food safety control strategies

·         Three years food safety experience in: foodservice, food manufacturing, third party consulting firm, regulatory agency or related field

·         Proven experience and strong understanding of Sourcing & Procurement processes

·         Demonstrated strong analytical skills

·         Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills

·         Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

·         Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment


Preferred Qualifications

·         Registration or certification as an Environmental Health Specialist, Microbiologist, Food Safety Professional and/or Sanitarian

·         Ability to collaborate within a team and with cross functional partners

·         Adaptable to varying work environments, possesses a strong pro-active work ethic and adapts to new responsibilities


Preferred Education
Masters degree in Public Health, Food Microbiology, or equivalent

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Food Microbiology, Food Science, related fields or equivalent
