The Sr. Food Scientist will be responsible for conceptualizing, defining
and leading multidisciplinary projects in Food Science and Technology.
Successful applicant will also be responsible for providing support and
counsel to multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists across the
fields of physics, chemistry and biology in food related applications.
Key Qualifications and Required Skills:
understanding of fundamentals of physical and life sciences
grasp of physical chemistry and biochemistry of foods
ability to effectively lead, as well as participate in, highly
multidisciplinary and dynamic teams in food related basic R&D or
product development projects
breadth, creativity and inquisitive nature, natural drive and desire to
learn and expand into new areas beyond food science.
to work under minimal supervision with only high level directions,
comfortable with uncertainty.
to identify needs/opportunities for new areas to expand the food related
capabilities and knowledge base, ability and natural demeanor to champion
degree from a top university in Food Science and Technology, or Food
least 5 years of related work experience.
