Under the direction of the Quality Manager, this position is responsible
for the day-to-day sanitation and food safety needs of the plant. Incumbent
will have responsibility to develop, validate, implement, and maintain the
plant sanitation program to ensure all products are manufactured in a
sanitary environment. Additional responsibilities include the execution of
the Integrated Pest Management Program (IPM) to support a pest-free
environment, coordination and management of plant Sanitation/GMP/Regulatory
inspection, and audit program. Candidate must be able to identify potential
sources and develop actions plans to eliminate possible contamination.
Coordinate training and development of employees in the area of sanitation,
GMP, and quality initiatives. Assist in directing quality lab and
Infrastructure Technicians to support plant food safety and food quality
programs. Facilitate plantís HACCP and SQF initiatives and verification.

effective plant self inspection program, coaching cross functional
teams to identify and resolve food safety issues across the plant.

Bachelor's degree in Biology,
Food Science, Bio-engineering, or related field preferred
3-5 years supervisory
experience in manufacturing environment
