Sensory Science Technician – Dublin, OH Job Number:

Overview Reporting
to the Sensory Program Leader, this role provides assistance and support to
the Sensory Science department and Project Managers in the development and
testing of new and core Wendy's products, essential for key business
decisions made by R&D and executes all taste panels and manages outside
contractors ensuring best practice sensory methodologies are used. Key
Accountabilities Include ·
Coordinating all activities related to the preparation
and execution of internal and consumer sensory panels ·
Managing external sensory contractors to ensure
accurate consumer and internal panel execution ·
Formatting sensory database maintenance which includes
but is not limited to Sensory Database, CPF Database, Internal DA Database
and Mapping, and ad hoc administrative support to the sensory group as needed ·
Conducting / Managing employee discrimination testing
evaluations, panelist orientation, tracking incentive programs and maintain
taste panel application and Compusense Wendy's
International, Inc. is an independent brand business unit of The
Wendy's/Arby's Group, Inc., and operates over 6,000 company and franchise
restaurants. This position will be based at the Wendy's Restaurant
Support Center in Dublin, OH. Qualifications
Education
/ Experience ·
Associate or Bachelors degree in Food Science or
equivalent experience ·
Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, SAS or
other statistical applications ·
Strong attention to detail ·
Basic knowledge of statistical analysis ·
Prior Sensory experience desired Critical
