Quality
Assurance Technician, HACCP, QCS experience in a food manufacturing
environment highly desired. Excellent temp-to-hire opportunity in the
Portland area. The QA tech will conduct basic quality control tests on raw
and cooked seafood products. Assuring factory sanitation exceeds safety
regulations and meets company's high standards, QCS data entry, daily QA
log use and document reviews for compliance, gathering, preparing and
submitting samples of raw materials and finished goods for testing,
evaluation and disposition and participation in GMP, HACCP, SOP and SSOP
are all encompassed in this position. Superb ability to gather information
to obtain facts when making decisions or recommendations for disposition or
follow up. At least one year of experience in food quality is desired. A 4
year degree is ideal in food sciences, microbiology but not required.
