Nut processor, currently has an excellent opportunity in our
Sacramento, Ca facility.
We are currently seeking a candidate for our R&D – Food Scientist opening.
In this role the successful candidate will:
Develop new
products for industrial customers to satisfy their needs by providing
almond ingredients valued by their consumers. Support new product
development in all stages from idea to market. Understand customer and
consumer insights, almond benefits, and Blue Diamond capabilities and
translate that to the areas of responsibility that include not only developing
new products, but improving existing ones and identifying and leading
productivity projects that cut costs, improve our margins and provide more
value to customers. Partner with internal marketing & sales and
customer R&D on identified projects.
This includes supporting new product development from idea to
market.
We are seeking a candidate with:

The ability to understand consumer and customer insights
·
Hands on, including Bench experience in food product development.
·
Experience partnering with business teams to develope
food/beverage products.
·
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
·
2+ years applicable Food and Beverage product development experience.
