Position: Laboratory Technician
Location: Greater Louisville Metropolitan Area
Company Profile: Beverage Manufacturer that manufactures in the USA but
exports world wide.
Reporting relationship: Reports directly to Technical Director
Position Description: This position is a temporary position for
a limited time at a privately owned rapidly expanding company experiencing
large growth. You will report directly to the Technical Director and
be involved in the following:
- QC of raw
materials especially flavors, juices, spices
- Be familiar
with emulsions
- Sensory
evaluation of beverages/raw materials
- Product
development of beverages
- Constant
product improvement and raw material evaluation
- Be familiar
with a variety of standard beverage laboratory equipment and the
importance of the calibration thereof testing includes but is not
limited to (Brix, pH, % Acid, % Salt, % FFA, Aw, viscosity, alcohol,
SO2, density)
- Be
knowledgeable and ensure compliance with Good Lab Practices and all
factory GMP’s and all other facility procedures
- Knowledge of
FDA regulations such as 21CFR 101, 21 CFR120, 21CFR114
Required skills:
Education: College Education with major in Food Science
