Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to fill its Facility Pest
Prevention Systems Manager position. This position is responsible for
developing and implementing facility-wide, organic compliant, integrated pest
prevention and master sanitation programs. The Facility Pest Prevention
Systems manager will drive policies, procedures and continuous improvement
programs targeted at maintaining the highest level of sanitation and food
safety readiness, as well as adherence to company and regulatory standards of
health, safety and hygiene. This
position is Also responsible for ensuring a “field –to-fork” approach on pest
prevention programs, enabling full engagement and collaboration of growers,
agriculture services, manufacturing, distribution
and consumer response teams. Qualified
candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, or a related
technical field, possess five (5) years’ experience in a food manufacturing
environment with demonstrated success in pest prevention and sanitation, a
strong knowledge /application of organic sanitation and pest prevention
systems, and an in-depth knowledge of food safety principals, allergen
control, sanitation standards associated with HACCP, GMP’s and GFSI/SQF.
Experience in grain harvesting, storage and milling preferred. Candidates
should be excellent communicators in both written and oral formats and be
pro-active and collaborative at all levels of the organization. Interested
