Assistant Professor Job - Food Science & Nutrition/Food Service Management

The successful candidate will teach courses in the undergraduate food science and nutrition program with a focus on foods, quantity food production, and food service management. Teaching typically accounts for 80% of the faculty workload. The successful candidate will be expected to play an active role in departmental and campus activities, to mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research and to pursue scholarly activities, and to develop and promote a successful residential and on-line program in food service management.
Prior to employment, final candidate(s) will be required to submit to a background check. All information obtained through background investigations will be strictly confidential and revealed only to those required to have access.
The conditions of employment with Central Washington University are set forth in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Central Washington University and United Faculty of Central, University policies and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws.
