Scientific/Food Science Research Opportunity!
Adecco Engineering and Technical is recruiting a R&D Lab Technician
with a scientific/food science background to work with a world leader in
nutrition and health, located in Solon, OH. This is a long-term
contract/temporary position, and a great chance to gain experience that may
lead to future employment opportunities.
The R&D Technician will be responsible for sampling, testing,
measuring, recording, and analyzing results of food products, ingredients,
and materials. Additionally, they will provide technical support to ensure
the lab equipment is functioning effectively.
Responsibilities will also include:
Performing laboratory testing to produce reliable and precise data
Carrying out routine tasks and following strict methodologies
Preparation of samples for analysis
Operating standard lab equipment
Recording and interpreting lab results
Computer use and performing mathematical calculations for preparation of
graphs
Qualifications include:
Bachelor Degree in a Scientific field, such as Food Science, Nutrition,
Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology
3-5+ years of related analytical lab work
Organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
