Position Summary:
Provides technical knowledge & support for the industrialization of new products, and reformulations.

Primary Responsibilities:
'Leads the factory implementation of Innovation & Renovation projects, cost savings, sourcing projects and quality improvements.
'Acts as an interface between Division TAG initiatives and the factory to ensure successful implementation of projects at the factory level.
'Provides technical support, knowledge and overview to the factory on maintenance/development/implementation and optimization projects.
'Identifies cost/quality and efficiency opportunities within the factory.
'Propose & manage projects for implementation in relation to TAG ownership of raw material, recipe, process and package.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
'Safeguard company's designs, formulations, processes, packages and reputations in all matters
'Maintain high health & safety standards and carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) requirements within all I&R projects
'Ensure correct maintenance and accuracy of information in recipe management system
'Support reformulation, with central agreement, in case of raw material issues (i.e. availability, quality, etc) to ensure continuity of production at the factory
'Drive and implement in a timely manner cost saving initiatives
'Shipment of product samples and raw materials to Division or R&D/PTC, vendors for equipment testing needs
'Initiate and facilitate short brief project work. Provide recommendations to division or TAG Manager in the decision making process for Brief approvals
'Successfully conduct and implement approved project/product briefs in conjunction with relevant departments, for the product portfolio on site
'Is responsible to plan and conduct Industrial trials in order to successfully complete projects assigned by TAG. These projects may include ingredient, formulation, process and or packaging related issues.
'Identify and recommend opportunities to TAG and local management, utilizing the short brief format and process, that will enhance the efficient production of high quality products at lowest possible costs.
'Is responsible with central TAG, for the management and continuous updating of all relevant local formulation and processing documents such as recipes, Product/Grading Standards, Manufacturing Specifications etc.
'Is part of the team that supports ( ISO, NQMS,NCE,NMA) audits, supplying relevant TAG information.

'Stays abreast of technological trends and procedures through involvement with outside organizations, professional contacts, books, internet, seminars, etc.
'Participates in local and central driven factory initiatives such as NCE or other factory quality/process/cost improvement oriented initiatives.
'Provide input and support in maintaining local processing parameters leading to continuous high quality products
'Support local QA at daily quality product panels and release of finished goods by sharing expertise and knowledge
'Provide manufacturing instructions to supply relative SAP formulation data input.
'Effectively manage multiple projects and other duties as assigned.
'Must have highly developed verbal & written communication skills.



-BS in Food Science, Food & Nutrition, or related field.
-1-3 years of experience in food industry (commercialization experience preferred)
-Demonstrated leadership skills, technical abilities, and decision making skills.
-Proficient use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, SAP, PDS, GLA.
