Senior Scientist of Nutrition Science - Nashville, TN

The Senior Nutrition Scientist will join a team of Experts on the Aegis Shield,® a line of services within Aegis Sciences Corporation (ASC). The Senior Nutrition Scientist will interface with ASC Sports Management and clients answering questions regarding nutraceuticals and supplement contents, consumption and safety. This position will also be responsible for researching and evaluating products for inclusion in the Aegis Shield® database as well as assessing ingredients within these products. The Senior Nutrition Scientist must have a fundamental knowledge and understanding of dietary supplements.

Qualified candidates must possess:

· M.S or PhD in Food Chemistries, Nutritional , Biological , Medicinal and/or Natural Sciences

· 5 years experience in a similar position

· Excellent communication skills

Preference will be given to candidate with the following:

· Experience with anti-doping administration and/or testing

· Experience with the manufacturer, marketing and distribution of dietary supplements

· Experience with anti-doping regulation

· Experience with GMP, FDA, DSHEA or related supplement regulations
