Jr. Food Technologist – Orange Co, CA

Growing flavor company located in South Orange County is in need of a junior-level R&D Food Technologist to assist the R&D staff with the development and/or improvement of product prototype systems by preparing bases and finished products according to provided formulas.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the development/ improvement of product prototype systems.
Prepare bases/ finished products according to provided formulas.
Work with Food Technologist to learn various aspects of prototype formulation.
Manage sample requests from project pipelines.
Work in team oriented manner.
Perform other duties as requested.

Required skills:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred

Food Science/ Science preferred

Minimum 1 year lab experience required
