an exciting opportunity available for a Food Scientist or Senior Food Scientist
located at our Research & Development facility in Wichita, Kansas. This
position will support our value added meats business for our foodservice
and some retail customers.
The purpose of
the position is to manage projects, provide technical expertise
and leadership to our busxiness and our customers:
Lead customer focused development for strategic customers
(execute and implement customer development and cost savings initiatives
(focus on collaboration with Cargill businesses)
Build relationship with strategic customers,
Lead innovation projects (participating in marketing
sessions to build business opportunity, rsearch, develop and implement
projects (capturing intellectual property))
Food safety (test, validate, implement products or
processes around food safety

30% Provide technical leadership in product and
process development and improvement, quality systems and regulatory

B.S. in food/meat Science, culinary arts, or food
processing or equivalent experience .
Minimum 2 years experience in new product
development, commercialization of new products, and/or research
Highly motivated individual with a strong background
in scientific procedure and project management skills

writing and effective vocal communication skills
