Pilot Plant
Technician
Main Purpose of
Job:
Plan and execute
all aspects of Pilot Plant trials
Main
Responsibilities:
·
Ingredient weigh-ups, labeling and staging
·
Mix, measure, adjust and homogenize batches
·
Thermally process and package batches
·
Operate all Pilot Plant process equipment including
boiler
·
Clean equipment, tools, and work area
·
Document and manage trial records
·
Develop and Improve Procedures

Qualifications
Minimum High School degree or equivalent. Degree in Food
Science, Engineering, or similar (preferred).
Skilled in use of Microsoft Office tools.
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Licensed Boiler Operator (preferred)
Forklift certification (preferred)
Better Process School certification (preferred)
