Job Description:
As a Laboratory Technician with Ecolab's Food and Beverage Global
Development Team, you will support formulation, testing, and development of
new solutions for Ecolab’s Global Food and Beverage markets.
The Food and Beverage Team is committed to developing new product and
service offerings focused on sustainability and improving operational
efficiency for our customers.
In this position, located at Ecolab's Schuman Campus in Eagan, MN, you will:
- Design, execute, and analyze laboratory experiments for new chemistries
and equipment
- Validate compatibility, stability, and quality of new chemistries and
equipment
- Support field trial activities/testing and analysis of field data
This role may involve travel to customer sites to support field trials up
to 20% of the time.
Basic Qualifications
- 2-year Technical Degree in Science or Engineering related field
- Ability to travel to customer sites to support field trials, up to 20% of
the times
- No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+years of laboratory technician experience
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook,
and Powerpoint)
- Relevant food industry experience
- Practical understanding of chemistry
- Laboratory experience
- Experimental design and analysis experience
- Experience with MiniTab
- Experience with GLP/GMP processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
