This position is with a food manufacturer and will be responsible for supporting activities around new products, line extensions and customer/sales sample requests. Duties include: • Conducting product development project work in association with the project development team; • Providing technical and scientific support for Research & Development; • Soliciting, organizing, analyzing and preparing reports on product development research data; • Providing on-site monitoring and technical assistance to operations when transferring products or processes to production; • Presenting innovative concepts and products for internal / external accounts. Experience : • One or more years of experience performing similar work in the food industry; • Formulation and process experience, knowledge in food science, nutrition, labeling regulations and ingredient functionality; • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment; • Competent with computers.
