Description :
Ensures
supplier alignment; specifications will be reviewed for alignment and
relevance on an annual basis. Reviews will focus on the completeness of
quality and technical detail of the specification with the intent of
continual improvement such as reduced variability in performance over
time.
Supports the regular auditing and approval of new suppliers by
establishing, communicating, and documenting performance criteria and
documenting audit results internally with purchasing and development as
well as the respective suppliers.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge
· Excellent
reasoning and mathematical Skills
· Good organizational skills
· Good communication skills, ability to work with diverse groups of
people including Marketing, Sales and Productio
· Broad understanding of production processing equipment and processes
Education/Experience
· Bachelor's degree
in food science, food technology, chemistry, engineering and other
sciences
· 2-4 years experience in a similar job function
· Food manufacturing experience desired
