- Bachelors Degree: Food Science or Chemistry or
Food Engineering
- 2 years minimum in new product development
- Experience in food or beverage
- Label development
- Word/Excel
Nice to have:
- Flavor experience
- Beverage development
Day to Day:
- Development of new fruit/juice drink products
- Bring products from concept to production
- Conduct sensory panels
- Develop nutritional facts and ingredient statements
- Qualify product suppliers (vitamin companies, flavor companies, sugar,
etc...)
- Conduct shelf life studies
- Work with QC to improve quality Reduce Cost
- Ensure compliance with FDA nutritional specifications
- Work with many difference competing interests: Corporate, Management,
suppliers, shop floor, plant manager, etc...
This position is available immediately, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
