looking for a solid Quality Control Manager to ensure the best quality of
ingredients and finished products are at the Mezzetta
standards. As manager, you will
establish and enforce quality assurance standards and align the organization
to achieve these standards. You will also be responsible for managing a team
of QA technicians and will drive improvement that will result in a high level
of consumer satisfaction. Role and Responsibilities ·
You will lead the
company’s continuous improvement
programs to ensure Quality is King and Mezzetta’s products
are the finest in the market ·
You will direct a
staff of QA lab technicians who perform the monitoring duties showing how the
plant is performing and make corrections, as needed, to be within
specifications ·
Your excellent
interpersonal skills will help us build strong performing ·
You will train and
develop your team on quality, safety, and compliance to achieve the highest
standards of food quality ·
As the quality
champion in the company ·
As a proactive
investigator and problem solver, you will help lead the investigation into consumer
complaints and drive the process to ensure consumer satisfaction ·
You will manage
and maintain record keeping for State
pH control records and ensure compliance with all State, FDA, local and plant
regulations ·
As manager, you will
monitor the facility for compliance with GMP’s, food safety, equipment
sanitation standards, pest control standards and HACCP requirements ·
You will be
responsible for administering and overseeing a GFSI program (BRC, SQF or IFS) Requirement ·
10 years of experience
in a food manufacturing lab or related job ·
3 years of work
experience in a management position ·
Strong leadership and
organizational skills a must ·
Excellent communicator
both written and verbal ·
Experienced with
continuous process improvements ·
Current on technical
developments and regulations in the food industry ·
Experienced in
administering a GFSI program (BRC, SQF or IFS) ·
Proficient in Excel
and Word Education Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related
discipline. Minimum of college chemistry, biological science, microbiology or
related science courses Certified in Better Process Control or Acidified Foods
