The School of Food Science seeks a faculty member to conduct research and scholarly activity under the general area of ‘healthy and sustainable foods’, and specifically related to dairy products/by-products as functional foods in human health. The candidate will also teach undergraduate and graduate courses in dairy processing. Required: Completed Ph.D. in Dairy or Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related field; Expertise in some aspect of basic science related to dairy products and by-products as functional ingredients on human health; Ability to plan, conduct and publish innovative high quality research that can attract significant extramural funding to support basic science research in dairy foods; Ability to publish research in major refereed journals.
