DescriptionProvide technical leadership and
excellent customer relationship management while possessing excellent
formulation and R&D capabilities with strong interpersonal and
communication skills to effectively support both internal and external
customers. This individual must have a thorough understanding of the
Product Development cycle and be able to lead and/or support
cross-functional teams through a projects life cycle.
Provide formulation leadership for new product and reformulation
Provide formulation training to R&D Team.
Complete product development projects.
Lead R&D relationship with multiple accounts as assigned and be
responsible for ongoing project deliverables, technical support, written
reports, meeting attendance, status updates, etc.
Assess ongoing business related R&D initiatives with customer and
take appropriate action to implement agreed upon objectives and to
communicate with internal business partners.
Solicit information regarding future product requirements with customers
and share data with sales and marketing to collectively address future
Present innovative concepts and products for internal and external
accounts on an ongoing basis.
Support the R&D Manager with cost reduction, ingredient
substitution/consolidation and other key initiatives as assigned.
Collaborate with and provide technical leadership and/or support to
Operations, Manufacturing, Customer Service and QA in new product
development and product maintenance activities (cost reductions, shelf
stability studies, ingredient substitutions, etc.)

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Masters preferred.
