JOB DUTIES:
- Independently and with
Marketing creates, develops, and evaluates new products.
- Improves existing processes
and products with lower cost ingredients and formulas.
- Independently and with
engineering design, implement and supervise new parameters and
processes for new products.
- Work independently with
comanufacturers in the development of new products and processes.
- Update knowledge and
developing technologies through professional seminars, conferences,
literature, and research.
- Monitor evaluation of
ingredients through laboratory tests and plant trials for new and
existing products.
- Provide technical support to
manufacturing to monitor or direct new and or existing product and
processes.
- Develop process documents,
data sheets, formulas and standards in the form of critical control
points for the new manufacturing processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Chemistry or Food
Science.
- Minimum of 5 years in
confections (soft candy).
- Must have chocolate
experience.
- Confectionary Technology.
- Experience in Third Party
Auditing.
- Effective organizational and
planning skills.
- Good interpersonal and people
management skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
