The
function of this position is to develop and administer technical training
programs for all FSNS facilities in compliance with ISO / IEC 17025
requirements. This includes program design, administration,
maintenance and compliance assessments. This position will have frequent
contact with all technical and quality assurance personnel to properly
develop, administer, review and audit the training program in a
continuous improvement manner.
This
position will conduct quarterly technical audits of each laboratory and
competency evaluations for the technical training staff. Will
continuously review and maintain technical aspects of compnay documents,
including but not limited to, Work Instructions, Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) and Methods in collaboration with the Quality Assurance
Manager.
Minimum
Qualifications
- BS degree in Life Science
or related field
- Masters degree in Life
Science or related field preferred
- Excellent written and
verbal communication skills
- 2 years experience in a
commercial testing laboratory
- Hands on experience in a
microbiological and chemical testing environment
- Broad knowledge of
concepts, practices, and procedures of a food testing laboratory
- Laboratory / technical
auditing experience preferred
- Formal corporate training
experience preferred
- Travel 20 – 25%
- Or equivalent combination
of education and experience
