Scientist – Gloucester, MA
Gorton’s, America’s leader in frozen
seafood since 1849, has an excellent opportunity for a Food Scientist
interested in joining our Product Development Team. Gorton’s offers
the entrepreneurial spirit of a smaller organization, combined with the
leadership of a category leader in consumer products.
As an R&D Food Scientist, located in our Gloucester,
Massachusetts headquarters one hour north of Boston, you will conduct
research and lead product development efforts to develop new frozen
seafood products. We are looking for an innovative scientist who is a
self-starter, can excel in a fast paced, market driven environment, has
excellent team working skills, and enjoys making a direct and immediate
impact on our business. This position requires an MS or Ph.D. in
Food Science with some product development experience. Development
and culinary experience with coating systems, starch and gum technology,
seasoning blends and protein systems is highly desirable.
