3M Microbiology develops,
manufactures and markets proven, reliable and cost effective solutions to
meet your testing needs.
Solutions include
3M™ Petrifilm™ Plates, 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Hygiene Monitoring Systems, 3M™
Tecra™ Pathogen and Toxin kits as well as sample handling, media and
enrichment products.
3M Microbiology
has a need for an experienced sales professional familiar with the food
industry, quality assurance and/or microbiology. This individual would
represent and sell microbiological test methods, hygiene monitoring, and
laboratory supplies to the food and dairy industry. The geographic
territory is comprised of PA, MD, DC, DE, & Northern VA and will
require approximately 70% travel with overnight stays. In addition to a
strong professional presence, critical thinking and problem solving skills,
the candidate should also have a solid understanding of microbiology and
computers. Qualified candidates typically have a BS or Science related
degree (preferred), along with 3+ years of successful sales experience that
includes either technical or food industry sales.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of business to business sales
experience

Prefer 5 + years of direct B2B Sales experience in
the Food and Beverage industry calling on Microbiology Labs and Plant
Management.
