Summary / Responsibilities - Food Scientist- Delhaize America :

· Responsible for understanding consumer needs / desires and create products to fill.

· Measured against all products that have a specification created, increase in innovation, and unique product development to meet consumer expectations.

· Conduct consumer panel testing

· Lead innovation for private brand

· Develop product specifications for all private brand products

· Support QA in trouble-shooting and issue resolution

· Partner with suppliers in product development

· Visit suppliers plants to understand manufacturing and quality capabilities and qualify vendors
