Job Description
Northland Laboratories is a complete solution provider
of Quality Assurance and Research & Development services for the food and
pharmaceutical industries, including Microbiology Testing, Chemistry Testing,
Nutrition Labeling, Shelf Life Studies, Validation Studies, Challenge
Studies, Regulatory Support, Methods Development, Consumer Research, and
Sensory Evaluation.
Northland Laboratories works with many top-100 Food and
Pharmaceutical companies in various services concerning Quality Assurance and
Research & Development.
As an important member of our Sales / Business
Development Team, you will:
Selling and building relationships with clients for laboratory services to
research and development and quality control departments of the food
industry. Individual will be selling
services for food safety, quality, nutrition, product development, compliance
and regulatory issues.
Authentic relationship
building and closing skills necessary, willing to work without constant
management, money motivation necessary.
Individual must possess
mature relationship-building skills with the ability to discuss money
freely. Contacts and/or laboratory
experience a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or Food
Science required.
Minimum 2-3 years functional industry experience
required.
Prior
experience in sales, microbiology or chemistry laboratory testing,
sanitation, quality assurance or research and development.
Effective
written and verbal communication skills. Effective computer skills.
