Job Description
Requirements: -BS in Food Science or related. -At least 5
years of experience from the pet food industry (dry pet food). -Project
management skills as well as strong communication skills.
Duties: -Design and develop new prototypes that translate
consumer insight and desires into product attributes. -Ensure that
scientific knowledge in combination with consumer insight is incorporated
intonew product designs. -Develop substantiation for all claims requested.
-Develop finished product ingredient and packaging specifications. -Carry
out necessary new product testing to insure product and package integrity.
-Ensure that all products meet the requirements of the Safe Quality Foods
Program. -Support operations in selection and use of equipment for pet food
production. -Provide technical expertise and training as requested.
