This
position requires a broad knowledge of Food Science and/or
Microbiology possibly obtained from a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
experience. An emphasis on food science is essential to
provide the guidance and training to laboratory personnel and to
maintain appropriate systems. Management experience is needed to
effectively manage personnel and facilities. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills are needed to support the network
personnel. Strong computer skills including thorough knowledge of
LIMS, Excel and Word is necessary. This
individual must have the ability to share their technical knowledge
with others in a coaching environment to ensure compliance with SOP's
