Added Meats - Foodservice has an opportunity available for a 1st
Shift Technical Services Supervisor at our meat processing facility
in Columbus, Nebraska. This position is responsible for: supervising
the day-to-day safe and efficient management of quality and food safety
systems of the facility.
- Develops/trains TS employees to
provide, receive, test, and report production quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation
of new Food Safety and Quality processes.
- Responsible for coaching
a staff of TS Technicians.
- Ensures compliance to USDA
regulations and customer specifications.
- Responsible for TS budget.
- Reviews all EHS
programs/policies and oversees accurate training of all TS
- All other duties as assigned by
Tech Services Manager.
- Bachelors Degree preferred, with a
background in Food Science or related field or 2 years minimum
supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and
written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem
solving/decision making skills
- Must enjoy daily interaction
with all levels of associates in a processing plant environment,
building and working with teams that solve problems
- Computer skills with knowledge
of Cargill Inc. supplied software including: Microsoft
Excel, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Access
- Must be capable of building
collaborative working relationships

delegate and hold self and others accountable
