Responsibilities
|
|
Support department’s strategic plans to strengthen
Diversey’s expertise in Food Safety. Creating and revising food
safety training and marketing materials as needed, participate and
contribute to portfolio development and maintenance as related to
Food Safety, support sales teams and customers as needed, monitor
inside and outside Food Safety-related changes and legislations, maintain
database of the food safety related news, act on changes as
appropriate, develop and maintain customer facing communication tool,
perform food safety training as need, participate in audits, create
participate and maintain sales training as related to Food safety and
Food Sanitation, work with cross-functional team on food safety
related new product and packaging development.
Major responsibilities:
- Food safety program support: database management, portfolio
support, regulatory change tracking, customer and sales support, food
safety and food sanitation training, 1st line of defense on customer
trouble shooting

Qualifications
|
|
A high School Diploma or equivelant is required for this
position.
Basic data management skills, excellent knowledge of MS applications,
project management skills, basic technical understanding of food
service and food sanitation, ability to manage complexity and work
through ambiguous situations. Bachelor degree is a must.
Should be able to at least 30% of the time. Should show
enthusiasm for technical aspects of the job and be comfortable
handling complex product lines. Food science or QC/QA
background (either an undergraduate degree or work experience).
Preferred requirements:
•Previous experience at food processing or food service environment,
sales or customer support experience is desired, Ability to
work collaboratively with cross-functional team is a
must. Database management experience is strongly preferred.
Bachelor degree in food science or related discipline along with
minor in economics is highly desired.
