We are currently seeking an experienced Food Production Manager from a
hands-on production background in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
This person will be responsible for the leadership and
organization/scheduling of the team, working to ensure deadlines are met, and
helping to monitor and optimize costs of production, etc. Those with a strong
background in food preparation and a commitment to food safety and sanitation
are encouraged to apply. Those with a proven work history of interacting and
cooperating with USDA and FDA regulations are desired.
The ideal candidate will bring with them the following:
5 - 7 years of Production and Processing Management experience
4-year Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing Development Degree (or
equivalent work experience.
Previous Food Production/Manufacturing experience is desired.
Strong communication and leadership skills are needed, as is the ability to
manage people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
Intermediate word and excel skills for correspondence and reporting duties -
