growing ground beef manufacturing company in Vadnais Heights, MN. The successful candidate will be a
confident leader with a track record of superior hands-on Quality Assurance
accomplishments along with developing a top-notch QA team and processes
5 or more years in progressively more responsible
Food Safety and Quality Assurance management roles (USDA plants A MUST –
meat experience preferred)
Experience acting as liaison with USDA inspectors and
Demonstrated expertise in leadership, development and
support of a Quality Lab and a Quality Team functioning in a broad quality
and food safety role that requires strategic vision and tactical execution.
Ability to develop employees through training, annual
reviews, monitoring and mentoring
Demonstrated experience with product compliance and
specifications, food safety and quality management programs (HACCP, SSOP,
GMP), vendor certification, 3rd Party Audits, recall, customer
complaint and issue resolution.
Experience implementing and maintaining HACCP Plan
Experience with plant sanitation
Demonstrated ability to communicate internally and
with suppliers and customers in all quality related issues and see them
through to resolution
Proven competencies in influencing others, change
management, interfacing with plant operations, sales, product development,
