Position Description:

Under minimal supervision by the program coordinator, this position performs a variety of duties and responsibilities to help prevent the spread of disease, mitigate health risks, and ensure compliance with all rules and regulations in the area of food safety. This position assists in the coordination of the retail food safety program in Boulder County. The position is also responsible for the direct supervision of assigned staff and serves as a member of the Environmental Health Division Management Team/Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor degree in environmental science, environmental health, or related field.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience performing technical tasks in investigation of environmental health conditions, or related field is required. Supervisory experience is preferred. --OR-- Additional related education may apply toward required experience.
