Adecco Engineering & Technical is currently recruiting a Lab Technician
for a contract assignment in Marysville, OH.
-Duration: Open long term contract
-Salary / Payrate: $14 an hour
-Relocation: Assistance not offered for this position. Local candidates
preferred.
-Job Description / Required Skills:
Organize and perform the associated support work related to experiments,
trials, and senosry evaluations. This work will be done
under supervision.
- Maintain the laboratory in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition
- Percision weighing of various dry ingredients
- Wet mixing ingredients together into homogeneous mixtures
- Perform sample for analysis such as: Viscosity, pH, Particle size analysis,
Physical stability, Sensory evaluation, other as required
- Conduct and record sensory evaluations
- Conduct storage studies
- Maintain good records of all laboratory work
- Data input of ingredients and Pilot Plant request
Education:
- AS or Bachelors in Science or Food technology or related field
- 1 year experience in either Food & Beverage lab or equivalent lab
experience
- Good Math skills to make basic calculations
Specific Requirements:
- Beverage/Food Product Formulation experience desired (NOT REQUIRED)
- Pilot Plant and lab environment exposure (NOT REQUIRED)
