Requirements/Qualifications (Education):

Minimum B.S. Degree in food and nutrition

Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional industry meal programs, school nutrition or food production facility.

Must possess excellent computer skills - exp in Genesis a plus

Excellent communication skills - able to work and speak with all levels of company

Able to handle multiple tasks in extremely unpredictable and changeable environment. Work under deadline focused atmosphere.

Job Description:

Whitsons Culinary Group is presently in search of a Food Scientist (Nutrition or Food Science professional) for our Islandia Culinary Center. This position requires a detail focused and team oriented individual to support our production Division.
The chosen candidate will be reponsible for assisting the Culinary Team in all aspects of ingredient declarations, label making, data entry, maintain and communicating all information to appropriate teams and all documentation associated with this department.
Candidates must possess a degree in nutrition and minimum of 2 years experience in a food manufacturing.
