NSF is recruiting a Key Accounts Specialist¬ for our Food¬ Safety & Quality - Supply¬ Chain group¬  to provide outsourced supplier database management services for client. The scope of the job will include managing supplier data to ensure ongoing conformance to client requirements, coordinating related auditing activities and to function as primary point of contact for technical matters. This is a full time temporary position with potential to become permanent after approximately 6 months.

Principal Accountabilities:

1.¬ Establish, manage and maintain a complete client supplier tracking database
2.¬ Coordinate and schedule the audits and manage the data associated with the client High Risk supplier audits.
3.¬ Follow through on all assigned key account support activities.
4.¬ Regularly communicate with key clients, manage inquiries and requests from key clients.
5.¬ Create management and technical reports for key customers.
6.¬ Review audit scheduling and completion to ensure that all timelines and audit requirements are met for key customers.¬  Reconcile the audit list and serve as a liaison with client and NSF audit teams as necessary.
7.¬ Process invoicing for key customers.
8.¬ Assist with supplier corrective action follow-up and completion to satisfy client requirements.
9.¬ Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

1.¬ Bachelor's degree; or documented successful and significant NSF International experience and pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
2.¬ A minimum of three (3) years experience in providing excellent customer service.
3.¬ Experience managing key customer accounts
4.¬ Effective oral communication.
5.¬ Exceptional attention to detail.
6.¬ Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
7.¬ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
8.¬ Ability to work independently, follow through on all assignments and meet deadlines.
9.¬ Ability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.¬ Bachelor's degree in food science or a related scientific area of study.
2.¬ Five (5) years relevant food processing experience
3.¬ Proven experience managing databases

Physical Demand:

1.¬ Required to sit for long periods of time.
2.¬ Moderate physical effort required; ability to move up to 25 lbs from one area to another.
3.¬ Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Work Environment:

1.¬ Work performed in an office environment.
