LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: ONE-YEAR PLUS
PAY RATE: $17-19/HOUR
Volt Workforce Solutions has a long-term project-based contract position
available for a Food Lab Assistant, with Our Client in Warrendale, PA.
Position Description:
Research & Development - The Food Lab Assistant will be performing
Product Development specific to frozen soup for Food Service Restaurant
Applications.
Additionally, the Food Lab Assistant will work under the supervision of
Senior Developers in order to create formulas to fit Cost/Nutritional and
Manufacturing constraints based upon culinary direction and/or recipe
concepts.
This position will take place in Our Client's Frozen Food Division.

Requirements:
Required Skills for this Food Lab Assistant position include the
following:
* Less than five (5) years of professional experience
* B.S. Degree or higher in Food Science required
* Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
* The ability to lift over 50 pounds
* Previous Customer Service experience a BONUS
