is recalling three store-brand popcorn seasonings because they contain an
ingredient that could be contaminated with salmonella. The items the
Cincinnati-based grocer is recalling are: • Kroger Popcorn
Seasoning – Movie Theater Butter Flavored, in 2.82-ounce jars with an
expiration date of June 8, 2010, and UPC code 011110 72445; • Kroger Popcorn
Seasoning – White Cheddar Flavored, in 2.82-ounce jars with an expiration
date of June 9, 2010, and UPC code 011110 72444; • Kroger Fat Free
Butter Flavored Sprinkles, sold in 2-ounce jars with expiration dates of June
8 and June 9 of 2010, and UPC code 011110 66853. The first two
seasonings were sold in Kroger stores in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and several
other states. The third item was sold in several states, including Kentucky,
but not Ohio or Indiana. Customers can return the items for a refund or replacement.
