Basic Purpose

 To support food safety and quality assurance department in the approval, tracking and monitoring of suppliers, management of specifications, management of customer complaints, management of reports, and development and distribution of communications with Support office personnel, USF facilities, suppliers, and assigned customer

Description

 

Maintain database of the USF Exclusive Brand suppliers with accurate contact information and reconciliation of active suppliers specific to assigned client

 

Administer approval program including third party audits of USF suppliers servicing assigned client.  Communicate with third party audit companies and suppliers as necessary to ensure completed data collection.

 

Provide support to assigned client on the distribution of third party audit reports to and from assigned client to the appropriate USF FSQA personnel.

 

Provide support in the development and distribution of communications to assigned customers, suppliers, and USF facilities in the areas of food safety and QA project initiatives as it pertains to assigned client. 

 

Manage the maintenance of the Exclusive Brand Specification program, including establishment of template, maintenance of database, and administration of specification approval process relevent to assigned client

 

Provide support as requested and required for other USF FSQA projects, programs, and initiatives. 

Qualifications

 

 High School diploma required, 2 years of college preferred.

 

7-10 years in administration assistant/cooriudnator role with specific program monitoring responsibilities

 

Strong written communications and computer skills (excel, lotus notes, powerpoint, word)  

 

 good interpersonal skills, strong oral communication skills, strong organization skills, good at solution identification

Physical Requirements

 Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
