Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree. Food Safety, Microbiology or related major preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience leading plant level food safety and delivering food safety training.
  • Experience implementing SQF (Safe Quality Foods) strongly preferred.
  • Experience auditing food or beverage manufacturing plant.
  • Experience managing Master Sanitation schedules.

DUTIES:

Manages plant level food safety operations for food/beverage manufacturing facility. Includes : facilitate SQF implementation, deliver food safety training, manage master sanitation schedule, conduct internal audits, monitor and improve in-process quality control, develop safety procedures and provide sanitary design recommendations. Reports to Quality Assurance Manager. No direct reports.

Location: AL

Salary: $60K to $70K + 5% Bonus
