Description:
Castle Engineering is seeking a motivated individual to join the
Nutrition Research team for a Major Food Manufacturer in the Northern
Chicago metropolitan area. Candidate needs to have Rheology experience
and be available to work full time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Will be running experiments (Ares & AR-G2 Rheometer,
TA-XT2 Texture Analyzer).
- Define globally applicable methods for analytical parameters and ensure
that all
referenced methods are validated and
meet requirements for manufacturers analytical methods
- Apply strong lab/technical skills
in both analytical chemistry and physics,
mainly rheology/mechanical
testing/texture analysis
- Comfortable preparing reagent and
solution in accordance with analytical methods
-Collaborate in developing new test methods. Improve
method for sample preparation
Requirements:
* BS degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmacy, or equivalent
* Analytical Physical Testing experience required
* Experience in method validation
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Comfortable working in multiple applications at once
* Excellent computer/software skills
Salary commensurate with experience
