Laboratory Technician-Food Science – Commerce, CA
A food company located in the commerce
area is looking for a Quality Control Technician for an immediate need.
The Food Technician will be working both in the QC laboratory and the
production line (pulling samples and doing quality checks on products
already in production). The primary lab responsibilities include
microplating, fat/salt checks, brix testing, ph meter, titrations, allergen
testing. Strong quality control background.
The ideal candidate must have to have at least one year of experience
working within the food industry/plant experience is great too. This is a
milk/dairy plant than manufactures milk, sour cream, yogurt, and orange
juice. BS degree preferred but not required.
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule:
The candidate will be trained on first shift and then moved to either swing
or graveyard. The person needs to be flexible with their schedules.
