The purpose of this job is to assist in the ongoing functions associated with airport concessions compliance with airport rules and the prevailing government regulations of outside agencies. Duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring concession operators; performing regular inspections; directing concessionaire remediation activities; holding regular meetings; acting as a liaison between the City, outside governmental agencies and airport tenants; providing information and responding to questions and complaints; and generating/completing performance reports, summaries, and related memoranda.

Examples Of Essential Duties:

Ensures Health Regulations/Code Compliance for all food and beverage units at the Airport Serves as the Liaison with County and State Health and Agriculture Agencies Coordinates Food Safety Training with the Airports Training & Safety Division Conducts Health and Food Safety Audits of all concessions with food products Monitor Health and Sanitation Inspection reports provided by the applicable Regulatory Agencies Review architectural plans for all Food & Beverage units and the applicable Retail units with food products Oversee the Grease Removal Program to ensure environmental compliance Evaluate concession units for Open Day Fresh Standards Operational deficiencies Maintain and Monitor all Concession Units for the Airport’s Pest Control Program Standards Chair the Airport’s Food Safety Committee Ensures the compliance of all Regulatory and Voluntary Recall Notices Tasked with standardizing the Food and Beverage Program based on the State & Food and Drug Administration Codes Maintain Emergency & Power Outage Procedures for all Airport food locations to ensure the proper safety, handling/disposition of food products during emergency operations Coordinates with Airport Concessionaires and the Pest Control Operator to ensure all food locations are being actively treated to control pests.

Typical Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate Property Management or Food Service or related field and a minimum of five years of combined experience in Food Management or Environmental Health. Food Safety Management certification highly desirable
