is currently seeking a Food Technologist/Product Development Scientist to
be located in our Wilsonville, OR plant.
Objective:
The Food Technologist is
involved with product development from bench-top to launch, including
developing specifications and other product documents. Employee will
conduct NIR, C-cell and other analytical equipment research as needed and
will report to the Research and Development Manager.

- Highest standards in quality, sanitation, organization, and management
will ensure our customer confidence in our ability to accommodate their
needs.
Technical
Services
- Manage systems to address customer surveys and customer concerns. Ensure
Corrective Actions, Preventative Actions and Continuous Improvements are
enacted for validated customer complaints. Ensure manufacturing plants and
warehouse locations have written governmental inspection policies and that
inspections are handled properly. Assist with development/implementation of
QC Database management at manufacturing and customer service locations.
Assist manufacturing sites with proper development of pest control process,
CIP/COP processes and other food safety processes to assure products meet
food safety goals.
Other - This is a dry mix production and
warehouse facility incorporating such ingredients as enzymes to form flour
based products. Some of the ingredients used are labeled as allergens and
will be clearly noted.
ABM endeavors to provide
a clean and dust free work environment which meets or exceeds any federal
and state requirements, however, some minimal exposure to dust may be
unavoidable. A person who is sensitive to dust or has asthma issues would
be advised against such an environment. Position requires standing for up
to 8 hours per day and lifting up 50 pounds.
