Ingredients
company is looking for an experienced Food /Microbiologist Technologist
to join their team. This position will be a key member of the scientific
team responsible for validation and testing of food surface and food
additive antimicrobials. Responsible for leading FDA, USDA, EPA and
European Commission regulatory review. Bring a sound food microbiological
view to apply best practices in diverse application area. Prepare and
advise training programs on client GMPs, SOPs, and SSOPs. Tailor testing
protocols for specific customer applications and work with manufacturers
to ensure proper execution. Advise teams on
client food safety assessments and programs including quality systems,
process flow and HACCP review.
Qualifications:
M.S. in Food Microbiology or Food Science and 5-7
years applied experience
Direct experience with technical sales in a client
and/or food manufacturing setting
Show a clear track record in the industry in the
areas of food development, food safety system management and diverse food
category manufacturing
Key experience in implementing and managing HACCP
programs, manufacturing quality and food safety systems
Extensive domestic travel is required
