This team member will be responsible for training
Merrick Pet Care employees on all aspects of food safety within our
production and storage facilities.
These
duties will include planning, initial and on-going training and assessment,
and maintaining all related records in the following areas:
- Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMPs)
- Facility Sanitation
- Food Quality
- Personal Safety
- Food Safety/HACCP
- Employee Hygiene
Knowledge
Requirements include:
- Bilingual (English and
Spanish)
- BS degree in related field or
previous work experience
- Above basic math, strong
reading and comprehension skill, and strong trainable mechanical
aptitude
- Great communication skills
with ability to problem solve in various situations
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in dry and
wet environments, and practice safety awareness at all times
