client is a Diversified, International Food Manufacturer located in
the Minneapolis, MN area. Due to recent growth within their
FOODSERVICE RESEARCH GROUP, they are actively seeking an experienced SR SCIENTIST with DAIRY
related R&D experience. This position is focus on creating new
products for thier their FOODSERVICE group.
Prior Foodservice experience is preferred. To
qualify, the applicant must have at least 8-10 years of prior R&D, food
scientist experience with at least 5 years specializing in dairy
products, cheeses, dairy based sauces etc. marketed and
sold into the Foodservice segment.
SR. FOOD SCIENTIST will:
new FOODSERVICE PRODUCTS that are DAIRY based, including Dairy
Foods, Cheeses, Dairy Sauces etc.
have experience taking new ideas from concept to commercialization.
be able to manage multiple projects and provide leadership and
expertise in the area of dairy.
bench-top and pilot lab scale-up activities
in multidisciplinary team as a project leader or team member
shoot and provide technical assistance to production as needed
product/process modifications to meet specific specifications
trade shows and keep other staff members up to date on new technology
within the Foodservice segment.
or PHD is strongly preferred in Food Science, Dairy Science or
have at least 8+years of R&D experience with at least 5 years in
Dairy development or applications
able to multi-task and run multiple parallel projects
and persuasive communication skills
analytical and reporting skills
be in able to work in the US without sponsorship and prefer applicants
from the Midwest.
