Duties:
Preparation for SQF-Level
2 certification
Provide support to food
safety in preparation for company SQF Certification audit.
Help gather data and
assist with implementation of food safety and quality assurance programs.
Assist the food safety
director with writing SOP's, developing of audit tools, developing procedures, and data validation and reporting.
Gather and prepare
samples for environmental monitoring program.
Input all items above
into a predetermined specification format.
Contact suppliers and
follow up with them over certifications.
Environmental swabbing
and sponging.
Monitoring workers in
processing.
Perform daily monitoring
of USDA production
Requirements:
A four-year degree in
Food Science, Microbiology or related field of study; or elevant work experience.
Proficiency with
computers including Microsoft word, Excel.
Bilingual in English and
Spanish is preferred but not required.
Strong English
Communication skills
